Susan Schmidt Goerz, Soprano

Susan J. Schmidt Goerz, MMus, BMus, BA in Theatre, BEd, is an accomplished, stage performer, director, educator and soloist who has performed and stage managed with the University of Saskatchewan Music Theatre Group, Saskatoon Opera Association, the Opera Troupe of Saskatoon, K-W Octoberfest Opera Productions, Kitchener-Waterloo Gilbert and Sullivan Society, the Orillia Opera House, K-W Musical Productions, and The Red Barn Theatre. Susan is currently Director of the Ministry Arts faculty of Bethany College where she teaches theatre and voice. She has directed over 40 productions, for the Bethany stage and Community Opera and various public schools including The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Hiding Place, Isis and the Seven Scorpions, Cotton Patch Gospel, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood and the Canadian premier of Welcome to Mitford.
